The word button can refer to:
- A typically thin, small disc of hard substance, attached to a piece of cloth by stitches sewn through holes in its centre; see Button.
- A simple control found on many electronic and mechanical devices, which is pushed to achieve some function, e.g. to summon an elevator or to turn a stereo on or off; see Button (control).
- A control on the display screen of a computer-related device; see Button (computing).
- In curling, the center of the house
- In Poker, a button denotes who the dealer is for the current hand. Betting then starts with the person to the left of the button.
